Njeri’s Morning Glory School and Art Center presents the classic fairytale, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, on Saturday, May 30th at their San Jose location. Parents and children alike can experience the thrill of the classic characters as they enact their archetypal story of innocence triumphant, against a vibrant backdrop of natural fibers that are the hallmark of the Waldorf puppetry arts.
Each character is presented in the form of a hand-sewn marionette made from shimmering silk. Mountainous layers of draped cotton and silk and dense woolen forests create the engrossing visual background for the story. The graceful and life-like movements of the marionettes are accompanied by compelling narration, with live music and songs specially written for the show.
