Take a snow day in the Gourmet Ghetto! Bring your boots and mittens to play in the snow that is predicted to gently fall in Andronico's parking lot at 1550 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley on Sunday, December 4, 10AM-3PM. Visit with the Snow Queen who will listen to all of your holiday wishes, make holiday crafts, and sip hot cider and eat chewy cookies or shop in the arts and crafts market. This is a free event for children of all ages sponsored by the North Shattuck Association, AT&T, East Bay Express, and Andronico's Community Market.

Across the street at M. Lowe & Co., from 1-4PM, you can 'Find the Ice in your Snowball,' one of which has a 1/4 carat real diamond inside. This is a benefit for both Berkeley Arts Magnet and Walden Schools. Upstairs in the Vine St. Courtyard from 12-4PM join the DIY Holiday Card-Making Party using specialty paper remnants from Twig & Fig.

Later in the month on Friday, Dec. 9, 4-8PM visit the ACCI Gallery at 1652 Shattuck to shop at the Holiday Arts Showcase filled with locally handmade gifts by wonderful artists. Then you can visit SaulsDeli.com for info on Saul's Hannukah Latke Party.

Every Saturday and Sunday 12-4PM throughout the Gourmet Ghetto are Surprise Holiday Entertainers including musicians, elves, stilt walkers angels and lots more to make your holiday season jolly.
