In this darkly comic psychological drama, classics professor Noah Melville (Malcolm McDowell) is a model of respectability - or so everyone thinks. In fact, he runs an upscale escort service using his most attractive students, a secret that comes out when one of them is murdered and Noah becomes the target of obsessive cop Patrick Kelly (Angus Macfadyen). The self-righteous cop has moral contradictions and complexities, and as he pursues Melville the two men discover that their skeletons in the closet are more alike than they ever imagined.
