Grab your bikes or public transport schedule and get ready to snap-shot! Snap-Shot-City ( http://www.snap-shot-city.com/ ) is a world wide urban photographic treasure hunt, with over 27 cities participating to date. The challenge for your team is to take and choose 24 creative storytelling shocking witty wonderful snap-shots of where you live that best describe the items on the list.
# Events will start at approx 1pm. - Registered teams meet at their designated location (Starbucks 250 Queen Street West (@ John Street) to await the list
# At 2 pm teams will be given a list of 24 treasures to track down
# Teams then have 6 hours to photograph and upload the list onto the website before the 8 pm deadline
# Your team must upload 24 photos by 8 PM. Detailed upload specification available on the website or as part of the information booklets available the day of the event.
# Then return to the post event location ( Rivoli 334 Queen Street West Toronto - Upstairs) by 8pm to recap of all the madcap adventures

If you have not had a chance to register online prior to the event there will be forms and snap-shot-city instruction available for pick-up from Starbucks.
Note: To simplify things, just register the captain of the team (as the website requires the entire team to sign in prior to the event to get the list) and follow the online instructions.

Start Time: 1 - 2 pm
Snap-Shot-City Hall After Party: is at the Rivoli (Upstairs)
Location: 334 Queen Street West Toronto
After Party Time: 8pm till late with Drinks and recap of all the madcap adventures!

There are only 2 days left to rally the rabble, plan your strategy, think of a witty name, register your team and join the hundreds of people from all over the world playing in this seminal event!



And if you factor in all the things you have to do in those next 48 odd hours: according to your doctor 16 of them should go towards sleep, lets hazard that at least 10 are going to be spent on work, another 6 simply at work, hopefully an hour will going towards grooming and general cleanliness, there’s the ubiquitous “waiting” that seems to take up a good 2 hours a day, a panicked hour trying to find a fathers day present… a couple hours at the pub, 20 minutes trying to remember… that thing… that… damn it!... a few hours for meals, the time suckage of reality TV, a good hour deciding what to wear, hours thinking about all of the fabulous things you’re going to do… one day… and what you really should have said! 1 hour on the phone to your mum, 5 minutes that turns into an hour on Wikipedia looking up Europe… and other Swedish hard rock bands… and well then really there’s only like an half an hour to get your registrations in!



So c’mon don’t leave it to the last minute!

Important Event Info…





· The challenge for your team is to take and choose 24 creative storytelling shocking witty wonderful snap-shots of where you live that best describe the items on the Snap-Shot-City List 2006.



· The list will be available online from 2pm (EST) or from venues in Melbourne, Brisbane & Toronto at 2pm local time. You have from 2pm (local time) until 8pm (local time) to photograph and upload 24 images



· Photos will be judged and awards and prizes given in a number of categories (both world-wide and locally in Melbourne and Brisbane)



· Snap-Shot-City is about telling a story about how you live in your city. As such the judging panel will be looking for creative interpretations of categories, artistic composition, spontaneity and fun!
