Jet, aka Jilala

Jet, aka Jilala, was born in Miami in 1944. He met Anais Nin 1965, worked with the Diggers in the sixties and helped found Kaliflower Commune and the Angels of Light Free Theatre Collective (1967-75). He created Theatre-Soup Kitchens in the 80s and 90s including "Crumbs." He retired in Oakland in 2006 and is working on an autobiography and a film about the Angels of Light. He can be seen in the documentary The Cockettes.
