Slough 101 March 15, 2008

Do you live, work or play near the Columbia Slough? This half-day workshop is an excellent opportunity to learn about the unique character, challenges and opportunities of the Columbia Slough watershed. The workshop covers watershed history, hydrology, fish & wildlife, and stewardship opportunities. Hands-on activities include: stream bug sampling, a tour of the flood control levee and pump station. Pre-registration is required and space is limited, so please register early.
