What's a Slideluck Potshow?

A Slideluck Potshow brings people together to share food and art. After beginning in Seattle just seven years ago, Slideluck Potshows have become an international phenomenon, created many times over in New York City, Berlin, Paris, Tokyo, London, San Francisco, L.A., and other cool cities.

Artists and art-lovers and anyone else who's interested come together in a central location (in our case, the Michigan Theater, 603 E. Liberty in Ann Arbor), bringing food to share (you bring the pre-packaged desserts, we'll provide dinner), and ready to view the visual artwork, in slideshow format, of area artists.

Past shows have included artwork from Elliot Erwitt , Alex Majoli of Magnum Photos, Lucian Read, Martin Schoeller, Andre Lambertson, and loads of lesser-known up and comers. Be one of the artists whose work is featured in the first Ann Arbor show. If it's as cool here as we think it's going to be, we'll make it an annual event.
