Sky View Center Presents Grand Opening Ceremony and Holiday Lighting Extravaganza November 9, 2010

To kick off it’s first-ever holiday season, Sky View Center, Flushing, Queens’ 800,000-square-foot shopping mega-center, will celebrate its Grand Opening and launch the Holiday Lighting Extravaganza with a ceremony on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 5:30 PM. Following opening remarks, a dramatic lighting program timed to holiday music, featuring twinkling snowflakes and stars suspended from the sky of the Center, will mark the official grand opening.

Accompanying the holiday light show, will be the Hey Ya Brothers performers from the Big Apple Circus, as well as the Queens Symphony Orchestra filling the Center’s lobby with festive music.

Best Buy, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Bob’s Discount Furniture, Marshalls, Target and Old Navy are now open at Sky View Center, with Bed, Bath & Beyond and additional retailers scheduled to open in the upcoming months.
