Explore different restaurants each month while getting to know other singles in the age group of your choice . . . so even if there's no love connection you'll still have a wonderful time. You'll order off the menu and receive separate checks for your purchases. Our website allows you to view the profiles of those registered for each dinner, tracks who you've dined with so you meet new people every time, and then let's you send a private message to those you've dined with afterward.

This week join us at Taste

"“Extraordinarily fresh ingredients” are the bedrock of Eli Zabar’s “upscale” UES New American where the “daily-changing menu” is available cafeteria-style in the daytime, but with “warm, professional” service after dark; granted, it’s a “little expensive”, but well worth it for a “truly reliable neighborhood spot." - Zagat.com
"Eli Zabar, the son of the founders of the Upper West Side institution Zabar's, loves food and wine. He owns the gourmet stores Eli's Vinegar Factory, Eli's Manhattan and W.I.N.E. But his interests really come together at Taste where chef Scott Quis offers a daily-changing menu, made to complement the rotating selection of 30 artisanal wines from around the world available by the glass. Since Quis can pop downstairs to Eli's Manhattan for whatever ingredients he fancies, or get fresh herbs and produce from the two greenhouses atop Eli's Vinegar Factory, the man has a lot to work with. Sit at the sleek backlit bar or settle into the moody chocolate brown and burnt umber dining room for well-constructed dishes with clean flavors. The bar's small-plates menu might pair bacaloa croquettes with a Taft Street Pinot Noir, while the dinner menu might feature Hubbard squash risotto with sage and pecorino or Nantucket Bay scallops with cauliflower, blood orange and walnuts. The cuisine and wine are on even footing, neither outdoing the other. By day, Taste is a self-serve café, and the weekend all-you-can-eat buffet is a neighborhood hit." - Gayot.com
