Vocalist Falu is one of the foremost disciples of the legendary Ustad Sultan Khan, and has collaborated closely with Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Project, Karsh Kale (as Falguni Shah), Born Into Brothels Ensemble (from the 2004 Oscar-winning documentary) and Carnegie Hall, where her debut Family Concert in May, 2006 at Zankel was sold out.
