Simmering is a Chicago based rock band that has earned their reputation for high-energy live shows. Although the group originated as a popular college band playing covers and entertaining frats and bars at University of Illinois, Simmering has solidified over the years into an original songwriting force with a strong emphasis on musicianship as well as entertainment value. It's dedicated and loyal fan base supports it's many electrifying shows and successful ventures. The band's sound has been compared to some, but carries a certain midwestern ethic that sticks it's head above the crowd.
