Screens at Oddball Films
Pervy Portland Curator Ian Sundahl in person!
On Friday, July 10th, Oddball Films present “Silver State Sinners”, Portland archivist/curator Ian Sundahl’s cinematic foray into Vice and Vegas with films including the Rat Pack’s “Oceans 11” premiere featuring Sammy Davis, an inside sexist look at the US Navy’s Tailhookers Convention, Live from the Sahara Casino includes performances by Debbie Reynolds and Bobby Darin, “An Evening in a Nevada Brothel”, Las Vegas Home Movies, double screen projections and sleazy lounge music. It takes a certain pervy curator like Sundahl (“Voyeur Vision”, “Calling Betty Page”), a former student of kitsch auteur George Kuchar to overdo the already overdone in this case Las Vegas. Don’t miss celebrity trash and talent as well as Navy guys gone wild and rare, home movies of the old strip. Showtime is 8:30, Admission is $10.00 (limited seating RSVPs to; [email protected] or 415-558-8117.
Oddball Films is located at 275 Capp St in San Francisco.

Hey Zsa Zsa!
In 1989, Zsa Zsa Gabor was arrested for slapping a Beverly Hills police officer and for driving with an expired license. She spent 72 hours in jail and was required to work 120 hours of community service at a woman's shelter. She later complained that the jury was not made up of her peers, saying, "It was not my class of people. There was not a producer, a press agent, a director, or an actor”.
