Silent Short Films: "Back Page: A Super Colossal Production" and "The Casting of the Baird Carillon" June 28, 2011

It's the premiere of "Back Page," a tongue-and-cheek look at the "Ann Arbor News." This film was found by AADL when they acquired the archives of the "Ann Arbor News." Carillonneur, organist and silent film scholar Steven Ball provides live accompaniment on the pipe organ. This event will also feature the 1936 silent film, "The Casting of the Baird Carillon" about the Baird Carillon located in the Burton Tower on the University of Michigan's central campus.
