Every year, Sigep is confirmed as the world's largest and most complete trade fair for artisan gelato, pastry, confectionery and bakery.

Sigep 2010 had professionals from over 150 countries and a 5.2% increase in foreign visitors. At Sigep, professional visitors discover all the new technologies, technical advances, and the most up-to-date methods for successful product presentation.

Sigep 2011 offers targeted business meetings thanks to a “market place”, a virtual platform where supply meets demand. The platform, on www.sigep.it, lets exhibitors and foreign top buyers (distributors, importers, retail and restaurant chains) to discuss the precise subject of their meeting during the five days of the exhibition.

- Gelato

Our traditional gelato section presents the largest suppliers to artisanal gelato parlours: ingredients, machines, furnishing, accessories, services. Here you will find the world´s largest concentration of companies in this sector.
The showcase will be embellished by the first Absolute Italian Gelato Championship, in which all Italian gelato producers´ associations will participate.

- Pastry

Our traditional confectionery section, present at Sigep for 30 years, offers the largest suppliers to confectioners: machines, ingredients, packaging, services. Here you will find Italy´s largest (and one of the world´s largest) concentration of companies in this sector.
In particular, Choco Sigep offers the finest Italian and foreign chocolatiers and chocolate making machines - all under the same roof - plus events and contests devoted to the "food of the gods."
If you want to learn everything about the professional confectionery market, come to Sigep: the world´s foremost showcase.
Events include the first edition of the World Junior Pastry Competition, which will involve 10 teams from 10 countries, and the return of the Italian Chocolate Championship.

- Coffee

Our "Espresso & Hot Drinks" section presents coffee roasting companies, teas, herb teas, and hot beverage dispenser companies.
This Sigep special showcase highlights a sector that has participated in Sigep for many years. It completes the exhibit addressed to bars/confectioneries, bars/gelato parlours, and coffee bars, whose operators can find the best products on the market at a single fair.
Foreign operators will discover the finest in ESPRESSO coffee, the famous "trademark" of Made in Italy.
Among the events is the 2nd Professional Workshop on Coffee in Pastry-making and Catering.

- Bakery and Pizza

Our section devoted to Bread and Pizza (I Love Pizza, "technologies, raw materials, and ingredients for pizza") completes the offer addressed to bakeries that make cakes, to confectioneries/bakeries, and to bakeries/pizza restaurants.
This section has been part of Sigep for a few years, and completes the exhibit of food products that are strictly connected to artisanal sweets.
The highlight of this showcase will be the 5th edition of the SIGEP BREAD CUP - International bakery contest: ten teams of professional bakers from all over the world will compete in baking traditional bread, innovative bread, bread sculpture, and cake.

Rimini introduces SIGIFT, the first exhibition for bonbonnières, gifts, decorations and confectionary. SIGIFT is held simultaneously with SIGEP.

SIGIFT is the only exhibition that combines two production chains: historical (30-year) chain of artisanal pastry, confectionary and chocolate, with that of gifts, decorations and packaging.

SIGIFT will be visited by producers, distributirs, retailers, importers, wholesalers and agents for the following sectors:
