"Over the holidays my friend Carmen and I have been organizing a reading series at the Railway Club. We're calling it: The Shortline Reading Series. We realized that the literary community really had no "scene" so we are trying to appoint a time and place where people can get together to read, talk, and drink with one another. It's also going to be a time for singer song writers to perform for a bit. If you are reading this and want to be apart of this then just drop me an email at: [email protected]

So on the 9th of January we'll have our first Shortline reading series where Michael Turner will be our guest reader. Turner is the author of Kingsway, The Pornographer's Poem, and Hardcore Logo (which was made into a major motion picture). Also, Ryan Flowers, Carmen, and myself will be reading followed by an acoustic set by Jon Anderson of Jon Inc."
