Short Fuse is a monthly cabaret style literary club devoted to the short story form. It champions the short story and its writers, providing a platform to local writing talent and an evening of great short fiction for its audience. Each month between four and six writers read their story. Stories are hand picked from submissions for their originality, craftsmanship and quality. This live lit event sees established writers read alongside talented newcomers on an equal footing. Short Fuse aims to provide support and encouragement to developing writers and to build a community of writers, readers and lovers of a good tale.

Sunday 8th February - Jeff Noon: celebrated writer and author of the cult novels Vurt (winner of Arthur C Clarke Award) Pollen, Automated Alice and more will be headlining in a line-up of five stunning and diverse short stories.
