Talented beyond her years, Shemekia Copeland is a blues vocalist of extreme passion. Daughter of the late Johnny Clyde Copeland, she infuses her singing with the Texas blues influence of her father along with influences of her own upbringing in Harlem. Hamilton Loomis has crafted his blues roots into a funk-a-fied recipe all his own.
