Top Side Observer $375.00

Quantity: AUU-GGD-046: When natural predations occur, most of the feeding activity takes place on the surface in full view of everyone. So although you won’t actually be diving with sharks, you will have a prime view. Our expeditions are very educational and exciting for anyone who loves to be outdoors and on the ocean. During the trip we often encounter whales, porpoise and many other varieties of marine mammals and sea birds.

1 Day Caged Shark Diving Trip $775.00

Quantity: AUU-FFD-046: All diving will be surface supplied or "Hookah" only which means you do not need to be a certified diver. Water temperature averages 52 - 56 degrees F. Our shark diving cage accommodates 4 divers at a time and rotations last approximately 30 minutes alternating throughout the day. During the shark diving expedition, we utilize decoys to attract Great White Sharks to the surface and the cage. This method of shark diving has proven very successful and is generally accepted for use inside a Marine Sanctuary. We are a proud sponsor of the Shark Research Institute to promote the protection and better understanding of these magnificent animals.

Lunch: Expeditions are approximately 12 hours in duration and include an early morning continental breakfast, hearty lunch, snacks and beverages, beer and wine.

Clothing and Equipment: Everyone must bring there own wet suit, mask, gloves, and boots. There are several dive shops in the area to assist in obtaining the previous items. Breathing apparatus and weight belts are provided. Also, at certain times of year it can be very cold so we advise you bring a warm jacket as well as your sun block and sunglasses for when you are not diving.

Number of people in Session: There will be a maximum of eight divers and four observers on the boat.

When does this trip take place? To coincide with the Shark migration patterns trips run mid-September through mid-November, Wednesday through Sunday.

Restrictions: You must be at least 13 years of age to cage dive. All minors must be certified and accompanied by a parent or guardian. Basic physical abilities are required. Maximum weight limit for cage diving is 250 lbs.

Do I need to know how to dive? No, but we do recommend completing a Discover Scuba introductory course.

May I bring guests? Yes, but they will be charged $375 as a topside observer.

Am I guaranteed to see a shark? These are animals in their natural habitat, so we can not guarantee that you will see a shark. In the rare instance that you do not see a shark, we will give you 20% off of your next dive.
