ODC's contemporary and experimental music series, sfSoundSeries presents Milton Babbitt's "All Set" (1957) for jazz ensemble, and a number of bay area premiere's: Olga Neuwirth's "Fondamenta" (1998) for bass clarinet, bari saxophone, and cello, Alvin Lucier's "Q" (1996) for ensemble and sine waves, and Hans Thomalla's "Lied" (2008) for tenor saxophone, vibraphone, and piano. The program also includes two new works written for sfSound by ma++ ingalls and sfSoundGroup.

ODC's contemporary and experimental music series, sfSoundSeries presents Karlheinz Stockhausen's "KREUZSPIEL" (1951) for oboe, bass clarinet, piano, 3 percussionists, Anthony Braxton's "Composition No. 75" (1975) for 3 wind instruments, and the bay area premiere of Beat Furrer's "Aer" (1991) for clarinet, cello, and piano. The program also includes the premiere of new compositions written for sfSound by David Bithell, Christopher Burns, Christopher Jones and sfSoundGroup.
