444 Jessie St.
San Francisco, California

The San Francisco Film Society’s SF360 Film+Club, a monthly social screening series, returns on Thursday, June 19, at 7:30 pm at Mezzanine (444 Jessie Street at Mint) with its third program from the uniquely entertaining and wildly popular Wholphin, a quarterly magazine collection of rare and unseen short films.

This advance screening of the upcoming Wholphin No. 6, will feature an exquisite adaptation of an Elmore Leonard short story; a beautifully black, comic exploration of ’70s England that isn't, but could easily be, the prequel to A Clockwork Orange; a bizarre and hilarious Australian aboriginal TV version of Car Talk; a documentary about a class of Chinese third-graders who hold a democratic election for classroom monitor and hilariously, if unintentionally, mock 300 years of American politics; and much more.

Doors open at Mezzanine at 7:00 pm, program starts at 7:30 pm. Complimentary tasting of Kissui Vodka will begin at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $12 at the door or $8 if reserved in advance by emailing [email protected]. Must be 21+ to attend.

SF360 Film+Club is presented by the San Francisco Film Society and Mezzanine, and is sponsored by SF Weekly and Kissui Vodka.
