SF Symphony: Blomstedt conducts Bruckner November 1, 2008

Bruckner’s Second Symphony bears all of the composer’s trademark majesty and breadth—a symphonic cathedral of sound. Hear legendary Krystian Zimerman play the piano concerto which Lutosławski dedicated to him. The New York Times describes Zimerman as “…a formidable pianist with a prodigious technique and a powerful intellect.”
