Got a lack of tag clouds in your life? Looking for that perfect Rails mashup? Feeling like you're on the short end of the longtail?

Welcome to SF Beta, a monthly mixer for the San Francisco Web 2.0 community. Join us for a relaxed, informal evening full of entrepreneurs, developers, bloggers -- anyone with an interest in the future of the web.

Our next mixer is taking place on Thursday, November 16th at 7 pm at Shine Lounge. Owing to the inherently leet nature of a Web 2.0 event, we're hosting the event at Shine Lounge, at 1337 Mission St. (Between 9th and 10th, in SoMa.)

We'll be welcoming two very special guests. Rafe Needleman writes CNET's widely read Alpha blog, and will join us as our guest MC. Erikka Innes is the founder of Geek Comedy Night and will be entertaining us with a short routine.

Continuing our tradition of featuring company pitches in ridiculous formats, we'll also give five hot startups the chance to pitch their companies with limericks. (The list: Guba, Joyent, Shoutfit, LikeBetter, and YouSendIt.)

At the suggestion of several October attendees, suggested contributions for November are now on a sliding scale:

- Regular Folks: $8 advance / $10 door
- Bootstrappers: $4 advance / $5 door
- Broke-asses: $0.05 advance / $1 door
- Just Sold to Google: $1.65 (Billion)
