This free panel discussion, sponsored by the New York Chapter of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association, will compare how the media cover same-sex vs. opposite-sex adultery. It will also explore the issues that come up as a gay person covering such stories. Panelists will include Alfred Doblin, editorial page editor for The Record in Hackensack, N.J.; Jamie Fox, ex chief of staff for former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey; Jay DeDapper, political reporter for WNBC; and Rashad Robinson, senior director of media programs for GLAAD (The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation).
