A benefit show for The Chicago Women's AIDS Project, featuring Seven Harkey & the Dogwoods and The August.

The CWAP is a local organization that focuses on education, advocacy and support for women and their families living with HIV. While AIDS research is very important to prevent the future of the disease, this group focuses on the here and now...people LIVING with the disease. CWAP helps women finish school (usually through their GED's), get jobs, stay off drugs and on their HIV meds. In addition, they provide therapeautic support sessions and educational prevention tours of the community at high schools and salons. They do such needed and worthy work here in Chicago and really need our help!
