Closing the first week of the Games Fringe 2008, this evening event features discussions, demonstrations and screenings of highlights from all the various Fringe activities. This will be both auditorium-based presentation/participation and accompanying exhibition to give maximum opportunity for members of the public to engage with what’s gone on, share the highlights, and exchange new ideas with artists and creators.

There will also be demonstrations and screenings of student work from some of our university partners. The aim is to provide a platform for broad dissemination of the widest range of Games Fringe activities, so that even those events which are restricted in participant numbers can be enjoyed by a wider audience than their logistical limitations allow. Outputs, materials and experiences from the Sense of Play showcase will also be made available online.

Part of the London Games Fringe, an ongoing series of cultural events and arts projects starting in October 2008, organised by artists, academics, gamers, game developers, educators and creative professionals from a wide range of different media: www.londongamesfringe.com
