Successful competition in today's complex markets require that we not only hire the right talent, but also terminate poor performers -- all while navigating a tricky legal landscape formed by California and federal law.

Concentration Areas:

-Recruiting and hiring, including equal opportunity laws, preventing "smoking gun" interview inquiries and compliance with privacy/background check laws
-Special legal risks when hiring employees who have worked for a competitor, including claims of illegal "raiding," unfair competition, solicitation and non-competition agreements
-Employee terminations, including performance management leading up to termination and best practices to avoid discrimination and whistleblower claim
