Panel Discussion: Advertising and Outsourcing

Come join the discussion about the current practices in Advertising and Outsourcing creative projects. Topics will cover the current thinking in advertising and communication strategies and what changes are on the horizon as well as the freelancing/outsourcing outlook in the Portland area and beyond for 2008.

Our panel will consist of:

* Dr. Tim Christy, Visiting Assistant Professor in Advertising of the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communication. Tim specializes in Advertising Principles; Advertising Research; Advertising Media Planning; and Advertising Strategy.
* Stacey Bolt has been a freelance copywriter since 2001. She's worked in agencies like Grady Britton, Elvis & Bonaparte and ID Branding. Her work has been recognized by Communication Arts, Print Magazine and The One Show. Her work has been featured on OPB's Live Wire and published in Portland Monthly and Imbibe Magazine.
* Dave Helfrey. Creative director of Elvis & Bonaparte, Dave helped create some memorable, award-winning work. Dave has done freelance illustration for national clients like The Washington Post, The Walt Disney Company and Honda.
