The colour vision of insects differs in many fundamental ways from our own. Despite their miniature brains, they can discriminate similar colours as well as humans. Using live bees in a ‘flight arena’, Professor Lars Chittka will reveal their hidden world of colours and patterns which is normally closed for human observers.
