Seattle Neutrino is a unique show that merges the fields of theatre, film, and reality television. The result is an original piece of film that has never been seen before and will never be seen again. We are a group of 20 actors and technicians who create, edit, and project a film all in real time for a live audience.

Seattle Neutrino is divided into three teams, each containing actors, a camera person, and a runner; each team is responsible for its own story line. After the cast solicits ideas from the audience, they exit the theatre to begin shooting their scenes. Time is of the essence: teams only have a few minutes to plan, shoot, and run their tapes back to the venue.

By the time the audience has finished watching a three-minute opening video, the first tape has arrived. Scenes are rushed to the mixing board one tape at a time; the video mixer queues the tape, while the audio mixer selects music to accompany the scene. The end result is a seamless film which lasts about 50 minutes, screened just moments after it is created.
