Seattle Book Arts Website Barn Raising November 10, 2007

Have you ever watched a website being built, right before your eyes? Come join the Seattle Drupal User Group as we migrate Seattle Book Arts to the Drupal content management framework.

Drupal, winner of the Overall 2007 Open Source CMS Award for Best Open Source CMS, supports a variety of websites ranging from personal weblogs to large community-driven websites. We will spend the day migrating a static website into a dynamic Drupal website for a local non-profit . Multiple teams working on different aspects of the site (installation, configuration and theming) will build simultaneously to develop the new site. This project will not only help move a local non-profit with a new website, but demonstrate how to build a Drupal site.
