Safe Kids McLean County and the Central Illinois Occupant Protection Resource Center is hosting 'Seat Check Saturday,' a child passenger safety check event in the South Parking Lot of the Miller Park Zoo. Have your child seat checked to be sure you are using the right restraint car seat, booster seat or seat belt. When it comes to the safety of a child, there is no room for mistakes. It's the responsibility of every parent and caregiver to make sure their children are safely restrained - every trip, every time and at every age. Parents and caregivers are welcome to drive up at any time between 9 am and noon, but if you wish to make an appointment, you can call Laura at 309-828-1892. Parents and caregivers will also receive a coupon for a FREE youth admission to the Miller Park Zoo, with a paid adult admission.
