Silicon Valley is still the center of the investing universe but many people think that will change in the next 10-20 years. At current growth rates VC investment in China will equal the entire US in about 7 years. In a world where talent, not money, is the resource in short supply, won't the countries with the most engineers (read India and China) win? The current US immigration policies seem to be speeding up the process. In some of the hottest sectors, like clean tech, over half the deals are already outside the US.
