D.C.'s hottest Irish band called Scythian (sith-ee-yin) will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day on Friday, March 17, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. with the masses at Stout in NYC. The lads are not strangers to Stout because the band comes to visit their NYC fans once a month to celebrate.
Scythian is comprised of four twenty-something guys of different ethnicities who started on the streets of Virginia. The guys have landed spots in M. Night Shyamalan's The Village Voice, one of MTV's Real World shoots in Philadelphia and have recently performed at the Kennedy Center.

With 19 shows in 4 states over the next 26 days proves that Scythian is, according to the Washington Post "one of Washington's most energetic and eclectic bands."
