Filmmaker Yoav Shamir examines contemporary anti-Semitism, as well as its political and cultural uses, in his incisive documentary. Surprisingly amusing and unquestionably thought-provoking, Shamir also profiles controversial figures such as Anti-Defamation League director Abraham Foxman and political scientist Norman Finkelstein. He additionally explores topics such as Israel's influence on American foreign policy, and attends an Israeli government-sponsored Holocaust education program that takes young Israelis to Auschwitz.
