Mike Mattison and Paul Olsen, the musical duo Scrapomatic, both hail from Minneapolis, MN. Schooled individually in jazz, roots and funk music, they began playing together in the mid-1990?s and were recognized with Minnesota Music Award nominations for best r&b group and best male vocalist. They decamped in to Brooklyn and have stomped their feet through nearly every venue in the metropolitan area, including Carnegie Hall. Outside of Scrapomatic, Paul is active as an ASCAP award-winning songwriter, producer and musical director. Mike also sings for the Derek Trucks Band.
