Scottish Writing Live is a special event bringing three award-winning Scottish authors to Renfrewshire to speak about their work - a unique chance to meet three celebrated writers at a fraction of the normal ticket price.

Anne Donovan was shortlisted for the Orange Prize for her first novel 'Buddha Da' and has recently published her latest novel, 'Being Emily'.

Zoe Strachan is author of 'Negative Space' and 'Spin Cycle'. She was nominated for the Saltire First Book and the Scottish Arts Council Book of the Year awards.

Louise Welsh's first novel 'The Cutting Room' won the Crime Writer's Association Golden Dagger, and she has since written top titles 'Tamburlaine Must Die' and 'The Bullet Trick'.

From 7pm-8pm, all three authors will read from and talk about their work, with drinks and snacks served from 8pm-9pm.

For more information, telephone Morag Smith on 0141 884 2874.
