Every year there are more achievements and accolades for comedian Tony V., who comes to the Amazing Things Arts Center, 160 Hollis Street, Framingham on Friday, Nov. 5. In 2010, he joined Denis Leary and the cast of the FX series Rescue Me on a tour of theaters across the county. He also returned to host the WEEI Whiney Awards, and agreed again to headline at the Wang Center as part of Boston's First Night celebration. In 2009, his biggest project was the role he played alongside Robin Williams in the dark comedy World's Greatest Dad (directed by Bobcat Goldthwait), which debuted at The Sundance Film Festival and had a theatrical release later in the year. He also had his "Ralph Mango" character killed off in the Showtime television series The Brotherhood. Well known to radio listeners as a frequent guest of Boston stations (notably WROR) he has a long list of industry credits, including dozens of television and film appearances. Among them are Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Seinfeld (his episode is part of the DVD collection), and performances on Comedy Central, HBO, A&E, MTV.
