Savage Aural Hotbed creates their compelling sound using conventional and "found object" percussion instruments, bass guitar, electronically modified horns, vocals and power tools. Their performances provide visual as well as aural excitement with their unique rhythms, flailing arms and flying sparks. In Wreckquiem, Savage Aural Hotbed explores composition informed by more classical sensibilities, expanding their vocabulary to include leitmotif, fugue, ritornello, cadenza, aleatory, absolute music and symphonic poem. The second part of the evening's program features special guests in Industryule, a Savage look at seasonal music.
