Fantasy Springs Resort Casino announces a concert scheduled for Saturday, February 12, 2011, and tickets could be just the thing your sweetheart asks Santa for this holiday season. Three-time Grammy Award winner Sarah McLachlan, and friends featuring Butterfly Boucher and Melissa McClelland, takes the stage at Fantasy Springs on February 12th at 8:00p.m. Currently on tour in support of her album released this summer, “Laws of Illusion,” Sarah McLachlan brings her intimately familiar voice and music to fans at Fantasy Springs, just in time for the 2011 Valentine’s Day weekend. Sarah McLachlan’s latest album is her first studio album of new material in seven years. According to her website, McLachlan signed with Arista Records nearly two decades ago. Every one of her studio and live albums has been certified gold, platinum, or multi-platinum by the RIAA. Sarah McLachlan has sold more than 40 million recordings worldwide since her recording career began in 1988 with her debut album, “Touch.” Five of her albums have reached the Billboard Top 15. She’s also the founder of the popular Lilith Fair. The artist’s website states that the music festival brought together two million people over its three year history from 1997-1999 and raised more than $7 million for charities. Indigo Girls, Sheryl Crow, Nelly Furtado, Queen Latifah, Emmylou Harris, and Christina Aguilera were among the many artists who participated in Lilith Fair.
