Sept 13, 2006 Sarah Claxton, a Washington, DC based photographer and graduate of the Brooks Institute, presents a limited edition series of 10 photographs that reveal the subtle humor of everyday life stresses. Claxton personally etches into each photograph, exposing an intimate connection between artist and subject that contributes to the emotional intensity, as well as subtle humor of each photograph. Sarahs repertoire includes photographs of prestigious local bands, Northern Virginia Magazine, On Tap Magazine and other commercial, editorial and event coverage. These photographs will be on view at Tonic 3155 Mt. Pleasant St. NW, Washington, DC, Wednesday, September 13 at 7pm. Free and open to the public.
