The Internet Movie Database named the 1964 flick "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" one of the 50 worst movies ever made, but as a stage production, the story "does a 180," according to cast member Katie Sapp. The play tells the story of Martian parents who want to surprise their children by bringing St. Nick back to their planet. The Martians stumble through technical malfunctions and lighting problems, feeding the craptastic feel of the show.
