Join us on August 12 for the revival of San Luis Obispo's Downtown Criterium Classic, located in the heart our beautiful downtown center! On top of a great day of racing rewarded with handsome cash and merchandise prizes, we invite you and your family/friends to enjoy our Downtown Community Festival including an Expo, kids' races and activities, free bike demos, a Bike Happening Parade at Noon and a free public raffle. Help us celebrate the return of this Classic Course.
4-corner .8-mile closed circuit. The course has a gradual climb after corner 1 up through the smooth cobbles of the Mission Plaza chicane, continues up through the Tour of California finish line at Osos Street, then turns back to the main drag on Higuera Street in downtown for a fast slightly downhill finish. The start/finish is located at Chorro and Higuera Streets.
Time: Registration booth opens at 6am and closes 10 minutes before each race. Races all day from 7am to 5:30 pm.
