1833 Page Street
San Francisco, California 94117

San Francisco Oil Awareness will be having a meeting called
by Jeanne R. on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 7:30 (NOTE: NOT 7:00)
p.m. at the Park Branch Library, 1833 Page Street, San Francisco,
94117. The meeting room is in its "basement."

After a rousing task force meeting with upwards of 15-20 folks
(inspired, no doubt by the SFBG article last week), it's time for a
meeting to provide info and support as needed for people who may
recently have found out about peak oil or otherwise care to be
involved. The (Dave Meninger) 20 minute video, "A View From the Top"
will be shown, followed by a discussion "What Next?"

Page Street is one block north of Haight Street. The library is in
the Haight-Ashbury district. Cross Streets are Cole and Shrader. The
Golden Gate Park Panhandle is one block further north if that's
helpful for those who aren't familiar with the assorted street names.

The Park Branch Library is easily accessible using public transit.
The following buses on Market Street in downtown San Francisco will
take you near enough: 6 Parnassus (get off when it turns south on
Masonic off Haight), the 7 Haight (peak periods only) or the 71 Haight-Noriega

Other buses that take you there:

43 Masonic (Originates in the Marina)
33 Stanyan (Comes from Potrero Hill through the Mission and Castro)
