Celebrate the holidays with the SFGC Alumnae Chorus in a concert featuring diverse
traditions from the 16th to the 21st centuries. Inspired by the moon as a symbol of the
feminine, this concert features a shimmering Renaissance motet "O magnum mysterium" by
Morales, a complex contemporary setting of "Ave Regina Caelorum" by Hawley, a traditional
folksong "Hebrides Lullaby" by Walker, as well as familiar carols and joyful jazz arrangements.

Now in its fourth season, the Alumnae Chorus provides Bay Area audiences with concerts
of the highest caliber of women's choral music. The ensemble comprises graduates of the
world renowned San Francisco Girls Chorus and Chorus School.
