Paris-based new music pianist Jay Gottlieb comes to San Francisco with a portfolio of outstanding pieces that have been written especially for him. The composers who have made Gottlieb their emissary blend a rich new lyricism with the precise formalism of the recent past. Also featured is Francesconi's energetic ensemble work, Encore/Da Capo.
