Sammy Ayala is the original singer of Cortijo y su Combo. Member of Ismael Rivera y sus Cachimbos. This 73 year old legend has assembled a band in NYC and will be playing material from his forthcoming album due out on Candela in Winter '06. Sammy represents an era of Latin music that has been relegated to our memories only, but in the tradition of Buena Vista Social Club, Candela brings long lost music back to us.

Bronx River Parkway is a dynamic Latin band whos sound has emerged on Williamsburg's Truth and Soul Records. A label with a vision that this band fullfills. Expects some of the best NYC full band latin sound you've heard yet.
