Samir Zarif Quintet February 17, 2011

Samir Zarif is an extraordinary tenor/soprano saxophonist hailing originally from Houston, Texas. Samir made his debut as a jazz artist in New Orleans, performing with Jason Marsalis Quartet/Quintet, the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, and various artists including Aaron Neville, Nick Payton, Christian Scott, etc. After moving to New York City, Zarif became a co-founder of The Paislies which released its debut CD on Fresh Sounds Record Label.
