Salon97's Meet the Artist Series with David Krakauer August 25, 2011

It isn't often that we have an opportunity to get up close and personal with a world-renowned performer, but this month we have that chance! We hope you'll join Salon97 for this wonderful and one-of-a-kind event.

Internationally-acclaimed klezmer and classical clarinetist David Krakauer joins Salon97 at Z Space to share an intimate evening of stories and performance. Come meet this dynamic artist and learn more about the path to becoming a professional musician in not one, but two genres! Join us for a reception at 7:00 p.m. and a performance and discussion at 7:30 p.m.

No knowledge of classical music is necessary. The listening portion of the event will last one to one-and-a-half hours. As always, mixing and mingling will abound. Friendships, business partnerships, and artistic collaborations have been forged over the last three years of Salon97 listening parties, so bring friends and come have fun!
