Join hundreds of girls in grades 5-8 for an exciting day of science and socializing at the Sally Ride Science Festival on Sunday, November 13 at the University of California, Irvine.

The festival features an action-packed street fair with experiments, food, music, and fun; a chance to meet and listen to the first American woman in space, Sally Ride; and exciting workshops given by women ranging from veterinarians to aerospace engineers. Parents and teachers are also encouraged to attend.

The Festival will take place at the University of California, Irvine?s Bren Center. The day begins at 11:00 a.m. with check-in and the street fair, and ends at 4:15 p.m. The cost is $18 in advance and includes lunch, and all festival activities and materials.
