Saintly Blessings: A Gift of Mexican Retablos From Joseph and Janet Shein July 22, 2012

Painted, devotional images of saints, called retablos, used primarily by Mexican peoples as objects of veneration and to seek favors, are on exhibition for the first time. The collection has been donated to the Lowe by prominent art collectors from Philadelphia and Miami Joseph and Janet Shein.
